Sorry I didn't reply earlier. Must have missed the alert email somehow.
Basic server specs: Distro: Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS Mobo: ASUSTeK model: P8Z77-V CPU: Quad core Intel Core i7-3770K (-MT-MCP-) arch: Ivy Bridge rev.9 cache: 8192 KB Network: Card: Intel 82579V Gigabit Network Connection Game servers often don't use much in the way of resources: no graphics or audio processing is required. And that's definitely true of the BF1942 server. I run six game servers on my server: Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, Unreal Tournament 99, Unreal Tournament 2004, Minecraft, and Valheim. The Minecraft server is a bit of a resource hog, because it's Java. Valheim is also a bit of a hog, for reasons that remain unclear. The server and I are located in Burnaby, BC, Canada. -- Jeff (boot13) |
