i got a few wishes for TPU....
1. i wish i hadnt set up certain maps so damn good!!! i mean come on how many times is everyone gonna play wake island and tobruk? this server plays all coop maps from 1942, road to rome,secret weapons and battlegroup42, over 150 maps to choose from and everytime i log on its wake island or tobruk........ try some of these maps monty cassino, salerno, prenumunde, kharkov, kursk, essen, hellendorn, anzio...... they all set up bad ass too, and they layed out with more detail than tobruk and wake island.
2. i agree with the conquest map idea, i get requests for coral sea and liberation of cahn alot. but since TPU is a coop server, and the idea aound TPU is the high rate of spawning for vehichles. running conquest maps may not work. if those maps are added to the rotation they could come around when just 3 people are in the server. u need a good bit of people for conquest to be fun, and when its just a handful, modding up a map makes no sense when there are only 8 people in it anyway, whos gonna drive all the rest of them tanks? lol i think if TPU starts becoming a server that is full, then maybe we can look at this idea more closely
3. can we all stop with the constant voting in-game. i mean come on if u want to play a certain map, vote for it, if it dont go thru, dont do it over and over again!!!
4. we are also looking at ways of making certain maps shorter or longer. for instance i would love to cut tobruk down to a shorter game, it goes forever, and id also like to make iwo jima longer. if anyone can think of maps that need this sort of attention, let me know, im usually on the server alot, best way to find me.
