Indeed. As soon as an industry involves enough money, people start trying to game it, to squeeze even more money out of it, or to gain an advantage so more of the existing money goes their way. I like to imagine a more sensible future, where making excessive profits in any business results in mandatory forfeiture. And senior executive salaries and bonuses are seriously limited.
