mitch, there a way around everything. if u dont trust online buying try this, get a credit card with only a few hundred dollar limit, or start a bank account with just a 100 bucks, and use either of them ideas to buy online. then if u do get hacked they only get a little bit of room to move and u dont get screwed big time. if u keep ur computer secured and dont let nobody touch it, EVER!!! u wouldnt have a reason to fear online buying. i do most of my buying online now. i may live in nashville, one of the most upto date cities in the world, but i am a picky buyer and walk in stores are all hype. usually only got 1 of everything and its always cheaply made, or they just flat out dont have what i want, so i must go online. and if ur afraid of getting screwed by the person u buying from remember this... it always ships with a return address, if u are upset with what they sent u, u can always go kick their ass. people do respond well when u made a real life appearence. it shatters their online internet fantasy world.
u could also get someone else to use they credit to buy it for ya, throw them some extra money for the time they took, and let them carry the risk, lol
