Certainly any sufficiently large organization will become corrupt, and that includes corporations, religions, unions, and governments. And by far the worst of those is corporations. They apply steady pressure in the form of lobbying groups, and by buying politicians, to improve the regulatory and financial climate to benefit themselves, regardless of any actual or potential damage. But eventually they push too far. I too feel that some major change may be coming.
