I agree. The trend these days is for electronic devices to not have power buttons at all. There are good reasons for doing this, but I would still like to have the option. For instance, my DVR has no power button, and it makes sense, because it receives programming updates constantly. It also needs to be on in order to record programs. But when there are problems with the device, you can't just turn it off and back on, you have to unplug the power cord, which is really stupid. Okay, I guess their support people would get a lot of calls from people who bumped their device and accidentally turned it off, but I still want the option.
