ha!! they say "you got ur day" and i think, "WOW"
years ago i found tpu and like nobody played in it, but it was the only place i could get the tank i wanted when ever i wanted. i wanted to know how to do that, for months i played around with the modding tools and messed everything up so many times..... then jeff showed me how to do the tpu trick, took a while but eventually i got it. i remeber the first time i modded a map and jeff actually used it for the tpu server, that was cool, i had to do more. i reckon i got to dress up a pretty good bit of maps at tpu, but i have never had a map i created from scratch ever played on a real server. NEVER!!
just a handfull of temporay servers me and mojo would run so we could test.
everybody must get these maps in the "darkryda map pack" or else u wont be able to play those maps, they are in the download selction to the left, page 1
as far as the turbo, what i want to do is learn how to put just a few seconds of burst to all the cars, i also want to set them up to not blow up on a long fall or by hitting a building, that way people arnt flying off the map by holding the turbo, and u can pull off some killer jumps and maybe even land it, most of the mods iv checked out are a bit cheezy, but if i find a good one ill sit back and study them files till i understand it for sure
