I'm not sure why B17s are causing server crashes. There are a few possibilities, but I think it's safe to assume that the original developers ran into the same problems, because none of the original maps used B17s. It's quite a large unit, in terms of physical dimensions, but there are other large units in the game. It has several player locations, but some have even more, like the DC3. Perhaps it's an issue of complexity: it has several guns, for instance. My guess is that there's something wrong with the object data. Modders have discovered bugs of all kinds in all the original maps, so there could easily be a bug in the physical layout or properties of the B17. The only way to find it would be to examine all of the object data by hand or import it into an editor and look at it there. A fun project for someone!
