BF1942 Battle of Britain still causing server crashes?

According to Sisko, the regular BF1942 Battle of Britain is still causing the server to crash repeatedly. I've played that map myself on TPU recently, so I know it's not happening all the time. I had previously assumed that the problems were caused by the B17s, which led me to remove them from that map, but clearly there's more going on there. Any additional observations?

Yeah, the last time I myself was in BoB when the server crashed two times Mojo was also in game to. We had all lets see..maybe six?humans players on(axis) and the bot side had a full house. Mojo did hypothesize that they are way to many units going at one time and I agree because the sky looks full of axis/allied planes and units on the ground too and it seem to happen when everyone is over and near the main factory and west radar tower. I don't know if the spawn rates were to be slowed down would help or not. but one thing is for sure and thats when we have more than 4 human players and humans are on axis is when the crashes would go down. I myself have never seen it crashed when human are on allied. But I do not know if this info will be in any help or not? But what some players have said to me before is that some are getting kinda tired of BoB map anyway so maybe its one of those"just leave it like it is for now situation"?

Thanks for the info. I'll take a look at the spawn rates and lower them if I think it might help. I do know that the server hardware itself is not having any trouble, since the CPU, memory and disk utilization show no issues when the crashes occur. It could be a network bandwidth issue on the server itself but I doubt that. It's more likely to be a bug in the bf1942 dedicated server related to bot processing.

Battlegroup Midway is having problems too with stuttering and jumping. It seems fine when I'm on by myself, but once another player joins, it gets bad. (However, on a Sunday 2 weeks ago with, I think, 5 or 6 players on it was doing ok. Jeff, I think you were on too at the time.) I've noticed that it is most pronounced over the main island, where a lot of activity is going on in the air, sea, and ground.

Okay, thanks for that. This kind of behaviour seems to affect maps that tend to concentrate the action in small areas, like Midway and BoB. I think we'll need to tone down the spawns on those maps so I'll be looking at that.
