As most of you probably noticed, TPU's Internet connection was down for a few hours this afternoon. I was finally able to bring it back by resetting the modem and it should be okay now. If anyone notices otherwise, please let me know.

UPDATE: The Shaw tech was here and he replaced an old splitter which seems to have fixed the problem. Let me know how it's working for you.

Okay cool! Maps went fine and connection seems to be back to normal. Say, how dow you get sound in xfire videos to work? And what causes the video to be choppy?

Options > Video > Record Sound controls what happens with audio during video recordings. I don't think any of the videos I recorded with XFire have audio - it's disabled in my XFire. Recorded video is often choppy because it adds a heavy load on top of playing a game, so many systems don't handle it very well. Try looking in the support section of the XFire site or searching Google for xfire video choppy.

Thanks and I will look into that. Would having two OS running, Mac and windows also cause the choppy?

You're running Windows in a virtual machine, right? That would most definitely hurt video recording performance. Try reducing the dimensions of the video.

Yep, that I have. This mac is 4GB ram. 2GB has been signed to windows. However I can increase ram but may make my mac run very unstable but I will change the video size next time I record. 600 by 800?. Did you get a chance to see that video on the fall of nanking? If not I can do it on xfire for a better copy if you think thats would be better. Anyway thanks so much for all your help.

dont know if this will help but....
when i used xfire to record, half the time it will come out with no problems, but for some reason if im trying to make a video of something i wish to show others, it would always be choppy, happened on both my gamer systems.
and as for the sound, when i use my computer there is always a party going on at my house, half the time i cant hear my game anyway so i play with no sound. if i was to record a video with my sound off the video would come out with no sound. i always had to remember to turn the sound all the way up on my computer before i started recording

Thanks Dark I will keep that in mind. Was the BoB any improvement on my part? I don't use this type of stick back home and with all the adjusting I am doing to it, well I might as well just keep on using it when I get back home. Done got use to the feel so yes might as well keep it. I Wasn't going to keep it. But I will be uploading more videos soon.

Dark, I have reinstall your maps and begun playing around on the racetrack. I will do a video of it soon. But yeah I agree with you that this is one bad ass map to having some flying fun. Well to be honest the racetrack would be a better kink challenge than BoB!
