Yesterday the BG42 map '4412 Ghost front' caused the dedicated BF1942 server software on the TPU server to go into a restart loop. I have removed it from the BG42 map list.

Thank you for looking into this. Talk about Déjà vu because it was a Ghost map after all lol. But when maps have been removed from rotation, will you ever bring them back or is it a permanent thing?

Generally once a map has been removed from the rotation, it won't be put back until there's a new version, which means a new release of BG42 - or someone else has found the problem and fixed it. According to their web site, the BG42 team was working on a patch (1.71) that included a lot of bug fixes, but as of May 3, they are making it a new full release: 1.8. No target has been set for a release date.
