Hey as far as I know and seen there have not been anymore hack attempts(on my end and time on) for a little over 6 days. Jeff I really hope we seen the last of this peasant. What ever you did seem to work THANKS! But I will let you know if I come across him again. Thank you!

I concur: he hasn't been back for a while. I won't go into details on what I did, but since there's no way I can absolutely prevent him from returning, please be aware that he may come back. Let me know ASAP if he - or anyone else - returns and causes that kind of disruption again. Thanks!

Hey guys, I though I should throw this in as well, last nite there was an "Ass-hat" by the name of Big Joe. A TKer that just wouldn't take a hint. Luckily we had two of our admins on at the time and I do believe that he was taken care of effectively(Thanks Mojo/Ryda). But I thought I'd just mention it anyway. I absolutely can't stand people that log on with the sole intention of disrupting others and deliberately causeing problems. I do believe we call those special individuals "greifers". That guy was a real Dumbshit.

He wasn't the best of players for sure. Actually, myself was also in game and what I saw was harmless at first. He was a noob and new to internet playing for bf42 in my own opinion, but afterwards he got so angry with his score being on -0 and he seem to lash out and tk and that is NOT good! TM gave him the boot but players like this will always show up. But a message to TPU players, if there are no admins on duty and someone comes in game causing any trouble, please wright down the names and what problems are they doing and let the admins know of this next time you see one. Hellfire what you did by posting the name here is also the best way when no admins are on and thanks for that!

Sisko is absolutely correct. When no admins are on TPU and there are any problems at all (server crashes, map glitches, bad player behaviour, etc.) please report it to one of the admins. Contact info for the admins is in the 'TPU admins' section (see sidebar). The email address that flashes by in-game is a good way to reach me: jr0002@shaw.ca.
The admins all have my phone number as well, and they know they can contact me that way for emergencies like apparent DDoS attacks, hacks, etc. -- Jeff (boot13) |

well something big happened the other day. i banned a guy, it was 2 days ago, and its only the second person i ever banned. he was being verbally abusive, i warned him over and over. i kicked him. i kicked him again. when he came back it was cuss cuss cuss.server bashing. i kicked him a third time. when he came back i said, "guess what i can do after 3 kicks" he kept on so i banned him.
a player acted up. i gave proper warning. i kicked 3 times in a row. player continued to be disruptive. i banned him. now its well known that i can let alot go at TPU, and for the record this is only my second ban. did i do what is expected of the TPU admins? |
