That is technically possible, but if it was done on the server side, it might prevent people from joining the server unless they had the same changes. On the other hand, it should be possible to make the change on the client side (on your PC). I did something similar with BF2 a while back, increasing the volume of one of the weapons. Are you interested in getting into making those kinds of changes to the game? If so, DarkRyda might be able to get you going.
