Yeah, the server crashed hard last night and didn't recover like it usually does. I'm still trying to figure that one out. At some point in the near future, I'll be running it on a Linux box so it should be a bit more stable.

As for playing on the Axis team: since the teams are even, you can play on either side if you're by yourself. If there's anyone else on the server, you need to agree on the team to play on. You can even play against each other if you both want that. But if someone else joins, you need to renegotiate. It's a co-op server primarily. But I know what you mean about the Axis tanks!
