What would be interesting is that if a Toyota of that year and make showed up out the blue" Dumb crooks doesn't see this coming" and while they are driving around in a car that may have fresh paint or just fixed up a bit. It is so obvious however having a reason to stop someone for driving a car of same type is a big no. But sometimes when a lead sends investigators in, it can be promising because dumb crooks forget to remove the vin number from the doors,hood cowl and just do a quick cheap paint job. But this engine you have can be swap out into a camry so I wouldn't count on the dummies to do that"to much brian power needed". But what would be good to see if any body shops around you are doing any work on the same MO. Or any parts stores with a lot of high calls on that MO in recent days."TURBO FEVER" because the plumbing of this turbo ant easy on reinstall with same hoses. But in reality it can be anything. Btw was there any foot prints around you could see? Small ones,more than two sets?
