i look at it like this, the server is very important (to us) and if anything is wrong, the biggest thing is to fix it. i dont think anyone would care that the server is down for a short time as apposed to the server burning up and gone forever.
i think the server should be taking care of when ever it convient for jeff, that way it will get done fast and efficientlly.
i really feel that an hour is not long at all, even 1 entire day is not long at all, nobody should be let down by the server being down for repairs.
i say shut it down, make the repairs, take ur time, and get it done right. there are planty of other servers we can play on till its back up.
