No, not at you specifically, Jesse. LOL. Hitting 1 over and over to take over driving from a bot in BF42 doesn't work as often for me as it apparently does for you. It seems to depend on the way the AI is set up on individual maps. I challenge you to get a bot out of a jeep sitting at the factory in Battle of Britain, for instance. It does work, but I sure get tired of hitting that 1 key, and of course that only works if the vehicle has more than one seat; otherwise your only option is to keep hitting F6 F7 over and over. Meanwhile, the bot is taking the vehicle the wrong way or off a cliff, so if and when you finally get control it's usually in a bad situation. And of course the whole time you're mashing keys, you're not fighting. Oh well.

I've never seen a bot medic or engineer help a human player in BF42. Maybe I just haven't been paying attention. I'll watch for it.
