TPU server information

Tanks 'n Planes Unlimited (TPU) is a co-op Battlefield 1942 server that runs server-side-modded maps with increased tank and plane spawns.

TPU was founded on November 10, 2007, when the name was adopted for the server, at the suggestion of Jesse Barker.

The TPU server lives in Burnaby, BC, part of greater Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The computer hosting TPU is named Foghorn, after the Looney Tunes rooster. It runs 64-bit Ubuntu 12.04 Linux, has 8 GB of RAM and an Intel Core i7 3770K 3.5GHz CPU. You can monitor Foghorn's status (CPU, memory and network usage) on the TPU monitor page.

Foghorn processes TPU stats nightly at 3am PST, uploading them to the jdrgaming site, which is hosted by A Small Orange on one of their shared Linux servers.

And here's Foghorn, in all his glory...
